Jim Barr Dinner Benefit

Saturday, January 31, 2015 - 4:30pm

A benefit dinner is being held for Jim Barr and his family.

In September 2014, Jim Barr was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. On January 9, while waiting for a double lung transplant, Jim suffered a massive stroke due to a blood clot on his brain. This benefit is being held to help Jim’s family pay for medical expenses, travel expenses, and to support them during this difficult time.

The dinner will include soups, salad, dessert, and a drink. We will be accepting donations for the dinner. The dinner will be at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, 960 Township Road 964, Ashland, OH.

There will also be a silent auction where several items, donated by local businesses, will be auctioned off to the highest silent bid.

For more information or to donate items for the silent auction, contact Angie Barr-McKissick at 419-651-1090.

Please come and support Jim and his family. Thank you!
