Description: Currently, we are starting the study of the three letters of Paul: 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus. We study the scripture and compare it to other verses from the Old and New Testaments to help better understand the verses we are studying. We use maps and other translations to support and clarify the scripture lesson. Class participation is encouraged which can include doing their own research and developing resources. A wide range of ages in our class complement the lesson and helps everyone to gain a better understanding of what the Bible is saying to us.

The Women’s Fellowship group meets on the first Wednesday morning of each month. They work on a variety of projects such as quilting, making lap blankets for shut-ins, sewing baby blankets, and assembling health and school kits that are distributed through Church World Service. They sponsor various themed carry-in lunches following the worship service throughout the year and plan the All Daughter’s Banquet which occurs annually. The Women’s Fellowship also organizes a group called Prayer Sisters in which members secretly trade names annually and encourage their secret prayer sister with small tokens, cards, and prayers throughout the year.

Men’s Fellowship

The Men’s Fellowship meets several times throughout the year. Every summer they sponsor a church picnic. They also sponsor the All Son’s Banquet each year.

Sports Ministry

Through our sports ministry we offer year round recreation for both youth, men and women.  During the summer months we participate in a softball league and through the winter months we are involved with a volleyball and indoor soccer league.  The soccer league is organized by Spirit Driven Soccer. Watch the bulletin for information on how to participate.  The teams also always welcome congregation members to cheer them on at these events.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is a group of people who enjoy singing and bringing a message to our congregation and community. They practice on Wednesday evenings between September and May. They sing various styles of music from traditional hymns to more contemporary arrangements. The choir also prepares a Christmas Cantata each year in which anyone from the community is welcome to come and participate. Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome whether you can carry a tune or not.

Ring and a Prayer Bell Choir

They meet Wednesday nights between September and May to practice; each month, they share their music with the congregation as part of the worship service.
