Pastoral Search Committee Is Called to Serve

The Ministerial Board has asked the following people to serve as a Pastoral Search Committee for Maple Grove as we begin the process of searching for a new pastor: Ryan Barr, Lawrence Benner, Dave Bishop, Jean Gilmore, Laura Kettering, Lynda Kysor and Darlene Moore.  These individuals have accepted the call to serve in this way.  The Search Committee had their initial meeting with Kris Hawk, our District Executive, on Thursday, February 15 at 6:30 pm to learn the beginning steps in coordinating the process of calling a new pastor.

Pastoral Search Process

The Pastoral Search Committee is ready to begin the Search Process.  The first step is completing a Profile of our congregation that will be made available to pastors looking for a church.  The Search Committee is asking you to complete a Congregational Assessment form.  Copies of the form will be available following the worship service on Sunday, February 25 and Sunday, March 4.  If you would like a copy mailed to you, please call or email the church office.  All completed forms must be returned to the labeled box on the Secretary’s Table in the Gathering Room by Sunday, March 18.  Thank you for your assistance in getting this process underway.
